NANCY MACE ENDORSED BY TRUMP ADMINISTRATION ICE DIRECTOR TOM HOMAN

CHARLESTON, S.C. – May 28, 2024 – Today Congresswoman Nancy Mace’s campaign announced the endorsement of the former U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director, Tom Homan. Homan was appointed by President Trump in 2017, bringing with him over three decades of law and immigration enforcement experience to the role. 

 

“Congresswoman Nancy Mace is the only candidate in this race we can trust to secure our southern border and uphold the rule of law,” says Former Director Tom Homan. “As ICE Director I worked to secure our borders and enforce President Trump’s tough immigration laws. Nancy Mace will continue that work in Congress, as she believes we must build the wall, strengthen our national security, and stop illegal immigration. I have discussed the current border situation with her and she clearly understands that this lawless border is one of the biggest national security vulnerabilities we have seen in the history of this great nation and she is committed to the protection of the American people. Congresswoman Mace has my complete endorsement, and I encourage all voters who care about border security and stopping illegal immigration to support her campaign.”

 

Rep. Mace has been a consistent fighter for securing the southern border and keeping illegal aliens out of the Lowcountry. She has called out Joe Biden and the DC Establishment by voting to impeach Biden’s Sec. of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas. She has also introduced her own border security legislation, most recently the Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act passing out of the House Judiciary Committee and heading to the House floor. Additionally, she has always voted to secure the southern border on bills such as the Secure the Border Act (HR2) and the Homeland Security appropriations bill.
