FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NANCY MACE ENDORSED BY STATE REPRESENTATIVE GIL GATCH

CHARLESTON, SC. – May 29, 2024 – Congresswoman Nancy Mace’s campaign announced an endorsement by State Representative Gil Gatch (R-District 94). Rep. Gatch highlights Congresswoman Mace’s support for common-sense legislation and accomplishments in the Lowcountry.

“Nancy Mace has been a steadfast partner in advancing common-sense legislation like the heartbeat bill, and adding exceptions to the bill, which protects the rights of the unborn, protects women and supports Lowcountry families,” says State Representative Gil Gatch, “Together, we’ve delivered meaningful results for our community. I proudly endorse Nancy Mace for reelection.”

Rep. Gatch and Rep. Mace have worked together to better the lives of their shared Lowcountry constituents. One of their most prominent projects was partnering on the Heartbeat bill. They advocated for the life of the unborn, while also fighting for exceptions to abortion for rape, incest, and life of the mother. Without their work and support, the bill would allow no exceptions to abortion.

Gil Gatch is a friend and consistent conservative voice for Charleston and Dorchester county, who fights for his constituents and for practical legislation,” says Congresswoman Nancy Mace. “Gil’s support and leadership is invaluable to the Lowcountry, and I look forward to continuing our work together.”
