NANCY MACE FOR CONGRESS ANNOUNCES SECOND TV AD

September 8, 2020 (CHARLESTON, S.C.) — The Nancy Mace for Congress campaign today launched its second TV ad of the 2020 general election titled, “King Street.”

The 30-second ad is running across multiple cable networks and satellite. The ad highlights her record of standing up for the Lowcountry after the riots on King Street, and highlights Mace’s commitment to keep families safe and secure.

Nancy Mace issued the following statement:

“America is under attack. And National Democrats, with help from Congressman Cunningham, continue to fail to protect our businesses and communities. The Lowcountry is facing a crisis of leadership. It’s time to ensure we keep our Lowcountry safe and secure,” said Mace.

“In fact, the day after the riots on King Street, I grabbed my drill and got to work downtown. But Congressman Cunningham? He brought a staffer and a camera — no drill. And now? Congressman Cunningham’s silence is deafening. He has failed to condemn the violence. He has failed to protect our businesses giving them no choice but to defend themselves. He even stood shoulder to shoulder with Charleston’s Mayor who failed to secure the streets of Charleston. He stands idly by while his party pushes to defund the police. He is an abject failure in securing our communities. The Congressman proves time and time again that he will only and always put his party first,” added Mace. “The Lowcountry deserves better.”

TRANSCRIPT:

“Arson, looting, and anarchy.

From Portland to Charleston, America is under attack.

Nancy Pelosi knelt to the mob, and so has Joe Cunningham.

The violent mob feels emboldened.

Our country is at risk. Enough is Enough.

Nancy Mace will stand up for the Lowcountry,

just like she did during the riots on King Street.

And Mace will fight hard to keep your family safe and secure.

I’m Nancy Mace and I approve this message.”
