NANCY MACE SETS SIGHTS ON UPCOMING STATE SENATE HEARING ON ATTORNEY GENERAL ALAN WILSON ALLEGED BEHAVIOR

Charleston, S.C., October 30, 2025 –  Following notice of an upcoming state Senate hearing scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2025, to review matters related to the Office of the South Carolina Attorney General and his alleged behavior.

WHAT: Legislative Oversight Subcommittee on SCOAG
WHEN: 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 5, 2025
WHERE: Gressette Room 308, 1100 Gervais Street, Columbia

Congresswoman Nancy Mace issued the following statement:

“Alan Wilson is a do-nothing, p*dophile protecting disgrace to South Carolina,” said spokesperson Piper Gifford.  “He’s spent years protecting p*dophiles, predators, k*llers, r*pists, you name it. His lack of prosecutions and overabundance of soft-on-crime plea deals has made South Carolina far less safe. So, it’s no surprise the South Carolina Senate is putting him under the microscope. He’s earned it.”

Mace reiterated her call for stronger oversight and ethics safeguards to ensure public funds are always used to serve victims, taxpayers, and law enforcement, not bureaucracy or politics.
