US REP NANCY MACE ANNOUNCES RECORD $1.17m FUNDRAISING HAUL
CHARLESTON, S.C. — U.S. Representative Nancy Mace announced today that she raised $1.17m in the year’s first quarterly fundraising period, which is her best fundraising report of the 2022 election cycle.
“Momentum in a midterm matters. Candidates who can raise the war chest to win matter. A strong record to run on and win on matters,” said Mace. “We have no campaign loans nor campaign debt, it’s all grassroots. Not only did we have a record breaking quarter this cycle, but a record number of donations too. Thousands of grassroots supporters and donors have given us the momentum it takes to win going into the final quarter of the primary. I couldn’t be more thankful to each and every one of our supporters.”
Congresswoman Mace’s fundraising efforts accomplished the following in Q1 2022:
- $1.17m total raised
- $2.3m cash on hand
- $47 average donation size
- 83% of the fundraising haul came in February and March
- Crossed 80,000 total donations in the 2022 cycle to date (CTD)
- $4.2m in the 2022 cycle to date – approximately $1m more than Joe Cunningham at this point in the 2020 cycle
These numbers reflect both the Nancy Mace for Congress committee and the Team Mace Joint Fundraising Committee (JFC), which distributes funds up to the campaign limit to the campaign committee.
Mace tells me that she’s raised $1.17 million between Jan. 1 and March 31 of this year, from 25,000 distinct donations.
The bulk of that — about 83%, or $970,000 — came during February and March, after Trump had announced his support for Arrington.
