Rep. Nancy Mace Raises More Money in Q3 Than Annie Andrews, Despite Her Opponent Embarrassingly Claiming Otherwise

CHARLESTON, S.C. — U.S. Representative Nancy Mace announced today that she out-raised her general election opponent in the third quarter, despite her opponent embarrassingly claiming on Twitter to have out-raised Mace by “over 120k.”

“Annie Andrews has no idea what she’s doing,” said Austin McCubbin, Campaign Manager. “It’s one thing to be a rookie candidate, but she has no business in Congress if she lacks the judgment to surround herself with a competent team.”

Mace outraised her opponent by approximately $150,000. Congresswoman Mace’s fundraising efforts accomplished the following in Q3 2022:

  • $759,788.29 total raised in Q3 from both Nancy Mace for Congress and Team Mace campaign committees
  • $689,778.51 total raised for Nancy Mace For Congress (line 16 of Mace’s FEC report summary)
  • $835,924.12 cash on hand
  • $63.58 average donation size
  • $6 million total raised to date for re-election – which is more than Mace raised in the 2020 election cycle

These numbers reflect both the Nancy Mace for Congress committee and the Team Mace Joint Fundraising Committee (JFC), which distributes funds up to the campaign limit to the campaign committee. The total measures the entire third quarter period.
