Nancy Mace comes from a military family, as the daughter of a retired Army General and school teacher. She started working at Waffle House after dropping out of high school, and became the first woman to graduate from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina, 26 years ago.
She built a business from the ground up, ran for office when others wouldn’t, and made history again as the first Republican woman elected to Congress from South Carolina.
She fights for what’s right – balanced budgets, low to no taxes, deporting illegals, a government who answers to the people, and the rights of children. She’s not a fan of the trans.

Nancy Mace’s plan to eliminate the State Income Tax
5 years to zero
- Cap General Fund spending at $11.6 billion annually
- Use every dollar above the cap to reduce state income tax until it hits zero in 5-7 years
- Pause, reduce or eliminate earmarks over five years
- Mandate every state agency cut 1% to 4% annually over five years
- Eliminate departments, boards and commissions that don’t serve key functions
Nancy Mace’s Plan for Law and Order
South Carolina has some of the highest crime rates in the country. Worse yet, when law enforcement and SLED do their investigations and pass it off to our state prosecutors, rarely do any of these crimes get prosecuted and even fewer get sentenced or see jail time.
- Capital punishment for child rapists
- Prosecute crime and respect the hard, investigative work of law enforcement and the dignity of victims
- Increase penalties for violent crimes and sexual abuse
- Expand statewide Crime Statistics Annual Report to include: arrests, indictments, prosecutions, plea deals, sentencing by county and by judicial circuit
- Modernize technology systems maintaining criminal data and mandate reporting to the Fusion Center
- Aggressively pursue federal grant programs
- Defund any office, agency or department who refuses to follow state or federal law
- Mandate ethics complaints of elected officials, judges, attorney generals and solicitors are made public (while redacting personally identifying victim information)
- Create a mechanism to remove rogue AGs, solicitors, judges or sheriffs who don’t follow the letter of the law
- Clean up streets by enacting and enforcing strict vagrancy laws
