NANCY MACE ADMITS WHAT CATHERINE TEMPLETON WILL NOT:
TEMPLETON CANNOT WIN A GENERAL ELECTION
Would Help Lose Republican House Majority
APRIL 29, 2024 – CHARLESTON, S.C. – Nancy Mace’s campaign released the following statement regarding her opponent’s positions and erratic behavior:
“Catherine Templeton’s values aren’t Lowcountry values,” said Mace campaign spokeswoman Gabrielle Lipsky. “Kevin McCarthy didn’t vet his hand-picked puppet who placed third in Charleston county when she ran for governor because her positions were too extreme for the Lowcountry. Since 2018, the district has only become more independent-minded. Nancy Mace, on the other hand, has always put the Lowcountry first above DC interests.”
Mace’s campaign stated Templeton cannot win a general election because she is on record:
- Supporting NO exceptions for the life of the mother, rape or incest (source: Post & Courier)
- Making racist comments in the wake of Mother Emmanuel (source: Post & Courier)
- Apologizing to illegal aliens for calling them illegal aliens (source: Berkeley County GOP Speech)
- Firing almost all immigration enforcement agents at SCLLR (source: Greenville News, June 4, 2018)
- Lying to voters about drafting a bill that was actually written by State Senator Larry Groom (source: South Carolina Senator Larry Grooms)
- Getting fired from SC Ports Authority in the first month (source: Post & Courier)
