CONGRESSWOMAN NANCY MACE STATEMENT ON ARREST OF FORMER PRINCE ANDREW IN CONNECTION TO JEFFREY EPSTEIN

Congresswoman Nancy Mace today released the following statement following the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, on suspicion of misconduct in public office in connection with his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein:

“I was one of only four brave Republicans in Congress who voted on the discharge petition that forced the release of the Epstein files, and the only member of Congress to publicly call for the arrest of Prince Andrew,” said Congresswoman Nancy Mace. “Today, on his 66th birthday, that call was answered.”

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested this morning by Thames Valley Police at his residence on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England, the first senior royal in history to be arrested. This arrest follows revelations in the Epstein files released by the U.S. Department of Justice showing that Mountbatten-Windsor allegedly shared confidential government information with the late sex offender during his tenure as the United Kingdom’s trade envoy.

“Who’s next?” said Rep. Mace. “We will not be silenced. We will not back down. We will not stop until every co-conspirator, every enabler, and every powerful figure who hid behind wealth and connections is held fully accountable. No one is above the law.”
