REP. NANCY MACE, CANDIDATE FOR SC-01, RAISES NEARLY $900,000 IN FIRST SIX MONTHS OF CAMPAIGN
CHARLESTON, SC (January 9, 2020) – The Nancy Mace for Congress campaign today announced a massive fundraising haul year-to-date, bringing the campaign’s total dollars raised to approximately $892,000. Mace raised approximately $375,000 in the 4th Quarter compared to $358,000 in Q3; she raised $155,000 in the last two weeks of June when she announced last summer. The number of contributions in Q4 are approximately 1,080.
“I am enormously humbled by the support our campaign is receiving, I cannot believe we are so close to hitting the million dollar mark in a republican primary, and in such a short period of time,” said Rep. Nancy Mace. “This says to me that South Carolinians are ready for new leadership because they have been let down repeatedly by the democrat incumbent in his first year in office. Joe Cunningham has sold out to party politics and refuses to put the Lowcountry first before his party. With our growing team, ample resources, and faithful supporters, our campaign is prepared to take back the 1st Congressional District.”
The campaign’s resources will be used to build a battle-tested campaign that will clear the primary field, and go on to defeat SC-01’s freshman Representative Democrat Joe Cunningham.
“I grew up here, I’m raising my family here, I work here. I understand how to serve the people here too,” Mace added.
