Nancy Mace has been the leading voice in Congress defending biological reality, protecting women’s spaces and standing up for the rights of parents and children. Her record is unmatched.
PROTECTING WOMEN’S SPACES
Nancy Mace led the effort to keep men out of women’s facilities on Capitol Hill — introducing the resolution that triggered Speaker Mike Johnson’s policy banning biological men from women’s restrooms in the U.S. Capitol and House office buildings. She followed it with H.R.10186 to extend those protections to all federal property.
She introduced the Protecting Women’s Private Spaces Act to prohibit anyone from accessing single-sex restrooms, locker rooms or changing rooms on federal property other than those corresponding to their biological sex.
She introduced the Stop the Invasion of Women’s Spaces Act to prohibit any entity receiving federal funds from allowing individuals to access single-sex facilities that do not correspond to their biological sex.
She passed three amendments to the FY2026 NDAA that are now signed into law — prohibiting individuals from accessing single-sex spaces on military installations that do not correspond to their biological sex, prohibiting DoD from covering gender-related medical treatment under TRICARE, and prohibiting the Secretary of Defense from using forms or surveys that include options other than male or female for sex or gender.
She introduced the Prison Rape Prevention Act to require federal inmates to be housed and transported based on their biological sex and to prohibit gender-affirming care in federal prisons.
As governor Nancy Mace will enforce the Carolina Student Physical Privacy Act — requiring every public school, college and university in South Carolina to designate restrooms and locker rooms based on biological sex — without apology and without exception.
PROTECTING WOMEN’S SPORTS
Nancy Mace has fought relentlessly to keep biological males out of women’s sports at every level.
She passed an amendment to the FY2026 NDAA — now signed into law — prohibiting male cadets and midshipmen from participating in athletic programs designated exclusively for females at the military service academies.
She cosponsored and voted for the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act to prohibit school athletic programs from allowing biological males to compete in women’s or girls’ programs.
She introduced the Protecting Girls’ Sports for Military Kids Act to prohibit males from participating in female sports at Department of Defense schools.
She cosponsored the Defend Girls Athletics Act, the Save Women’s Sports Act, the Protection of Women in Olympic and Amateur Sports Act, the SAFE Olympic Sports Act and a resolution calling on the NCAA to adopt a biological sex-based eligibility policy across all sports and all divisions.
PROTECTING CHILDREN FROM IRREVERSIBLE MEDICAL PROCEDURES
Nancy Mace introduced the Childhood Genital Mutilation Prevention Act to create a federal criminal prohibition on performing gender-related medical treatment on minors, prohibit federal funding for such treatment and exclude providers who perform it from Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
She introduced the Gender-Affirming Child Abuse Prevention Act to authorize a civil right of action for any individual on whom gender-related medical treatment was performed while they were a minor — giving victims the ability to seek justice decades later.
She introduced the TRANS MICE Act to prohibit federal funds from being used to conduct animal experiments to change the biological sex of an animal — ending taxpayer-funded gender experiments in federal labs.
She cosponsored the Empower Parents to Protect Their Kids Act to prohibit schools receiving federal funds from concealing or supporting a student’s adoption of a gender identity different from their biological sex without parental consent.
PROTECTING PARENTAL RIGHTS
Nancy Mace cosponsored the Parents Bill of Rights Act requiring parental consent before changing a child’s gender markers, pronouns, name or sex-based accommodations.
She cosponsored the My Child, My Choice Act to prohibit federal education funds from going to elementary schools that teach lessons on gender identity, sexual orientation or transgender studies without written parental consent.
She cosponsored the Stop the Sexualization of Children Act to prohibit federal funds from being used to develop, implement or fund any sexually oriented program for children under the age of ten.
RESTORING BIOLOGICAL TRUTH IN GOVERNMENT
Nancy Mace introduced the Restoring Biological Truth in Government Act to ensure federal forms and surveys recognize only male and female as biological sex options and prohibit agencies from asking about gender identity.
She introduced the Restoring Biological Truth to the Workplace Act to protect employees from being required to affirm gender identity ideology as a condition of employment.
She cosponsored the Defending Women in the Workplace Act to clarify that sex discrimination under Title VII does not include discrimination based on gender identity.
AS GOVERNOR
Nancy Mace will enforce the Carolina Student Physical Privacy Act in every school and university in South Carolina. She will ensure no state funds go to any entity that violates biological sex-based protections. She will never allow gender ideology to be imposed on South Carolina’s children, schools or institutions.
Men do not belong in women’s bathrooms. Men do not belong in women’s locker rooms. Men do not belong in women’s sports.
That is not a political position. It is a biological fact. And Nancy Mace will defend it every single day as governor.
