NANCY MACE ENDORSED BY BERKELEY COUNTY SUPERVISOR JOHNNY CRIBB

CHARLESTON, S.C. – MAY 22, 2024 – Congresswoman Nancy Mace’s campaign announced today an endorsement from Berkeley County Supervisor Johnny Cribb. Cribb credits their successful partnership on a number of projects, specifically the recent dredging project in Berkeley County, as a key point of his endorsement.

“Nancy has been there for Berkeley County personally and by mobilizing all resources at her disposal to address any and all federal issues that we face,” says Berkeley County Supervisor Johnny Cribb. “Nancy’s assistance recently on a dredging project, that was plagued with delays and associated budget shortfalls, paved the way for a very important public safety and recreational project to be completed.  What was communicated as “months” in delays was solved in two “days”.

When Johnny Cribb called Congresswoman Mace on a Friday afternoon with the Army Corps of Engineers and Berkeley County was going to lose $20,000 a day beginning the following Monday, Team Mace moved quickly. They were communicating with the Army Corps of Engineers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and by Monday morning they had a solution. The permitting was signed, passed, and approved so that the county did not lose any money.

“Johnny Cribb has been a champion for Berkeley County families, businesses, and communities,” said Congresswoman Nancy Mace. “We have been able to accomplish real results because of the strength of working together and working fast. His endorsement serves as a symbol for the work we have done in Berkeley County and the work we will continue to do here for our constituents.”
