NANCY MACE DECLARES VICTORY OVER CUNNINGHAM IN FIRST DEBATE (SC-01)

SEPTEMBER 28, 2020 (BEAUFORT, S.C.)  — Nancy Mace owned the stage Monday night at the first debate for South Carolina’s First Congressional District. Voters saw her put her record on the table proving that she does not ask permission from anyone, including party, to do what is right for her district. Mace held Democratic Joe Cunningham accountable for his misleading representation of his voting record, setting the record straight for Lowcountry voters.

“Nancy Mace and the people of the Lowcountry were the clear winners in this debate. Finally, Democrat Congressman Joe Cunningham came out of hiding and made clear that he is incapable of defending his record of voting with Nancy Pelosi 90% of the time, and putting partisan politics before the people of the First Congressional District. Voting to shutter Parris Island. Pushing PC politics instead of Lowcountry First policies. Voting for green new deal mandates. Voting to make DC a state. Voting to sell out the Lowcountry. Tonight displayed the crystal clear choice SC-01 voters have this election: Nancy Mace who will stand up for the Lowcountry every. single. time. Or Democrat Congressman Cunningham who puts his party before people.”
