GOV. McMASTER ANNOUNCES FULL SUPPORT FOR NANCY MACE: “SHE IS A FIGHTER”
CHARLESTON, SC – JUNE 4, 2024 – Today Congresswoman Nancy Mace’s campaign announced the endorsement of South Carolina Governor, Henry McMaster.
“Nancy Mace is a fighter. In her years in Congress she has stood firm for the First district. And she has stood with me every time I have asked. In the months to come we must all stand firm against the illegal, unconstitutional, excesses of the Biden administration and other corrupt officials. For these reasons and more, I am today announcing my full support for Nancy Mace for Congress,” said Governor McMaster.
Congresswoman Mace and Governor McMaster have campaigned across the state together to re-elect President Trump, and for the America First agenda. Mace endorsed McMaster when Templeton ran against him in 2018.
“Governor McMaster has been a tremendous leader for the state of South Carolina,” said Representative Mace. “”He is a fiscal conservative who has put state government in superior economic shape. He’s been strong on coastal issues for the Lowcountry; supports our small businesses and our tourism industry. He understands Washington needs tough leaders to make tough decisions for the country and who can also deliver results. It’s been the honor of my lifetime to deliver for the Lowcountry and for the state of South Carolina.”
Henry McMaster defeated Catherine Templeton in the 2018 Governor’s race. In that race, Templeton placed third in Charleston county.
