Mace to Newsmax: Hit Putin Where It Hurts In His Wallet

U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace joined Newsmax today to discuss the weak sanctions against Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.

“Certainly what we’ve done so far isn’t strong enough. Biden promised that the sanctions would be strong and swift. He also said yesterday that nobody expected the sanctions to have really any impact on Russia’s invasion or not, and that’s just flat out wrong.

Congresswoman Mace advocated focusing on Russia’s oil and gas economy as the strongest step we can take to sanction Russia for its invasion of Ukraine.

“SWIFT, the banking system, should also be on the table. There are Democrats saying Biden has not gone far enough.”
