Law and Order
Proctecting South Carolina against Crime, Drugs and Public Safety

This demands immediate action
Nancy Mace's Plan for Law and Order
South Carolina has some of the highest crime rates in the country. Worse yet, when law enforcement and SLED do their investigations and pass it off to our state prosecutors, rarely do any of these crimes get prosecuted and even fewer get sentenced or see jail time.
- Capital punishment for child rapists
- Prosecute crime and respect the hard, investigative work of law enforcement and the dignity of victims
- Increase penalties for violent crimes and sexual abuse
- Expand statewide Crime Statistics Annual Report to include: arrests, indictments, prosecutions, plea deals, sentencing by county and by judicial circuit
- Modernize technology systems maintaining criminal data and mandate reporting to the Fusion Center
- Aggressively pursue federal grant programs
- Defund any office, agency or department who refuses to follow state or federal law
- Mandate ethics complaints of elected officials, judges, attorney generals and solicitors are made public (while redacting personally identifying victim information)
- Create a mechanism to remove rogue AGs, solicitors, judges or sheriffs who don’t follow the letter of the law
- Clean up streets by enacting and enforcing strict vagrancy laws
Nancy Mace has a Plan
Prosecute Crime:
Nancy Mace will defund the Attorney General and any solicitor who doesn't prosecute crimes in a timely manner. Gone are the days of years and years before someone is prosecuted for rape, murder and child molestation.
Federal Resources:
Nancy Mace has already and will continue to identify federal resources to back the blue!
Capital Punishment:
Nancy Mace will sign a bill into law on day one to allow for capital punishment for all child rapists. She did it in the National Defense Authorization Act of 2025 and will do it as Governor.
Increase Penalties:
Nancy Mace will work with law enforcement and the state legislature to increase all fines, fees, and mandatory minimums for criminals.
