Wilson’s campaign embraces NEVER TRUMPER who amplified left-wing attacks on President Trump 

Attorney General Alan Wilson has announced a so-called “Trump conservative” steering committee for his campaign for Governor. The release reads, “Over 250 Conservative SC Activists Form Team Wilson.” But this is far from the truth.

One glaring example: Darienne Adams, listed as a Charleston County member of Wilson’s steering committee. Adams is a proud Never-Trump activist whose social media is a nonstop stream of attacks against President Donald J. Trump, relentless mockery of America First leaders, and cheerleading for the Left’s radical agenda.

For Wilson to parade this group as a coalition of conservatives while elevating voices actively working against President Trump and the MAGA movement is a slap in the face to the true South Carolina grassroots who have fought and sacrificed for our values.

“Alan Wilson can’t claim to be an America First candidate while his steering committee, the very people shaping his campaign, includes Leftwing activists who have very publicly and relentlessly gone after President Trump and his supporters,” said spokesperson for Nancy Mace for Governor Campaign. “President Trump and South Carolinians deserve a leader who will always put America First.”

“It’s deeply concerning Wilson would allow a Never-Trumper and leftwing rhetoric to serve on his campaign steering committee. Either he didn’t know who was on the list, or he didn’t care. Both are troubling,” added Team Mace.
