Pam Evette Staffer Arrested for Assaulting Mace Supporter

NANCY MACE DEMANDS PAM EVETTE DENOUNCE VIOLENT ATTACK BY HER STAFF AGAINST MACE SUPPORTER

Mace also demands Evette fire staffer and immediately apologize to the victim

Congresswoman Nancy Mace is demanding Lt. Governor and gubernatorial candidate Pam Evette immediately denounce an act of violence committed by Blake Garrison Kirsch, a member of Evette’s campaign, who was arrested yesterday on charges of Assault & Battery 3rd Degree after physically attacking a Mace supporter.

According to Greenville County court records, Kirsch was arrested June 8, 2026 and charged with Assault & Battery 3rd Degree. The case is pending in Greer Municipal Court. The assault was caught on video by a bystander.

“This behavior is disgusting and has no place in South Carolina politics,” said Congresswoman Mace. “Evette must immediately and unequivocally denounce the violence, fire the staffer, and apologize to the victim. South Carolina voters deserve an explanation for why a member of her campaign would resort to violence the night before an election.”

Mace’s supporter was attending a campaign event when Kirsch allegedly carried out the attack. Kirsch was arrested the same day.

“This is deeply unbecoming of a sitting Lt. Governor let alone, a woman who wants to be our next Governor,” Mace added. “South Carolina deserves leadership that respects the rule of law and condemns violence. I will be South Carolina’s law and order Governor.”
