US REP NANCY MACE RECIEVES ENDORSEMENT FROM MAYOR BILL WOOLSEY

CHARLESTON, S.C. — U.S. Representative Nancy Mace today received the endorsement of the Honorable Bill Woolsey, Mayor of the Town of James Island.

“Congresswoman Mace has a proven track record of working hard to represent the Lowcountry,” said Mayor Woolsey. “As the mayor of a coastal community I always look for our leadership in Washington to best address flood mitigation and conservation issues. Rep. Mace made it one of her first priorities in Congress to ban offshore drilling off of our beautiful beaches. She also recently secured over $50 million in the Water Resources Development Act to help with stormwater drainage and our rising tides. I look forward to continuing to work with her in the future and she has my full support.”

“Mayor Woolsey is part of the fabric of James Island,” said Congresswoman Mace. “In fact, he worked to help incorporate the town over 10 years ago. His beautiful coastal town is a microcosm of South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District, and I have worked hard to represent the issues that matter most to James Island residents. I’m grateful for Mayor Woolsey’s support and look forward to continuing to work with him.”
