Mace Comes In With 35x More Donors Than Everette, 51x More Than Wilson
Congresswoman Nancy Mace’s campaign for Governor released Q4 fundraising numbers today, demonstrating overwhelming grassroots support with more individual donors than her opponents combined.
The numbers tell a clear story: Rep. Mace secured donations from 20,998 unique donors in Q4 alone, 35 times more donors than Lt. Governor Pam Everette’s 602 donors, and 51 times more than Alan Wilson’s 411 donors.
“An average donation of $25 is momentum and a movement,” said Mace Spokeswoman, Piper Gifford. “While Mace’s opponents are relying on big checks from wealthy donors, we’re building a coalition of everyday South Carolinians who want results.”
The contrast is stark: Mace had nearly DOUBLE the in-state donors than Everette and Wilson combined.
Despite spending over $2 million in total, far outpacing all opponents, Everette remains stuck in third place. Everette’s contributions came from just 602 donors with an average of $1,673 per donor, revealing a campaign funded by wealthy interests rather than the people.
Wilson’s fundraising tells a similar story: 411 donors giving an average of $1,305 each.
In total fundraising, Mace beat Wilson outright. Nancy Mace’s average? Just $25.
“South Carolinians are smart,” Gifford continued. “They see who’s bought, who’s paid for, and who’s working hard for them. These numbers prove that our message of results over rhetoric is resonating across every corner of the state.”
With the strongest grassroots operation in the race, the Mace campaign is heading into the final stretch of the Governor’s race with strong momentum and a clear mandate from South Carolina voters.
“Rep. Mace doesn’t just reach grassroots, she delivers results,” said Gifford. “In one week, Congresswoman Mace proposed 7 pieces of legislation she would sign into law.”
