Mace Applauds Local Investment in SC Nonprofits

Dominion Energy Awards Nearly $1 Million to 130+ South Carolina Organizations

CHARLESTON, S.C, December 17, 2025 – Representative Nancy Mace released the following statement regarding the announcement that more than 100 South Carolina nonprofits will share nearly $1 million in grants from Dominion Energy, with approximately one-third going to Lowcountry organizations:

“This is what it looks like when businesses put money back into the communities they serve,” said Congresswoman Nancy Mace. “Under Governor McMaster’s leadership, South Carolina takes care of South Carolina.”

Grant funding will support critical community needs, including:

  • Emergency food banks serving families facing hunger

  • Affordable housing and homelessness prevention for seniors

  • Foster care transition programs for teens aging out of the system

  • Environmental protection and coastal wetlands preservation

  • Veterans services across the state

Organizations interested in applying for spring cycle grants can submit applications from January 12 to February 20, 2026.
