CHARLESTON, S.C., July 15, 2024 – Congresswoman Nancy Mace, of South Carolina’s First Congressional District, will be a featured speaker at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee on Wednesday night.

NOTE: Rep. Mace is rewriting her speech in the aftermath of the assassination attempt on President Trump. We will release her remarks an hour before her speech.

Bio:

A trailblazer, Nancy Mace made history as the first woman to graduate from The Citadel, the military college of South Carolina, Corps of Cadets in 1999 and later became South Carolina’s first Republican woman elected to Congress. Raised in a military family, Rep. Mace’s upbringing instilled in her a deep sense of dedication, resilience and patriotism. In 2020, she flipped a seat from Democrat to Republican and is known for taking on tough issues on the national stage. She resides in Charleston, SC with her two children.
